Sustainable Lexington – The Sustainable Lexington Committee will advise the Selectmen on proposals which affect Lexington’s sustainability and resilience and will recommend, develop and monitor programs designed to enhance Lexington’s long-term sustainability and resilience in response to environmental, resource and energy challenges. One of sustainable Lexington’s goals is to Reduce Lexington’s residential energy use 20% by 2020.
