As part of GWAC's speaker series, Seth Kaplan of the Conservation Law Foundation will be speaking at the Hancock Church on April 30 at 7:30 PM. The Hancock Church is situated across from the Lexington Green, at 1912 Massachusetts Avenue. The title of Seth's talk is "The Global Warming Crisis and the Importance of Action at the Local, State and Regional Level." The Conservation Law Foundation is the oldest regional environmental advocacy organizaiton in the nation. Since 1966, their advocacy has worked to solve the most significant environmental problems that have threatened New England. CLF uses law, economics and science to create innovative strategies to conserve natural resources, protect public health and promote vital communities in our region. This event is free and open to all.
